Day 1

Departure from the city. You will be picked up from your hotel, hostel or any other place convenient for you and go to Ulan-Ude!

Transfer to Ulan-Ude. On the way, will be several small stops in picturesque places

A walking tour of downtown begins with the inspection of buildings and monuments in the square of the Soviets – it is the administrative center of today's Ulan-Ude: the residence of the Head of the Republic of Buryatia, the House of the Soviets. Around the square are concentrated administrative buildings, including the building of the Hural of Republic of Buryatia, Administration of Ulan-Ude, the Federal security Service. The sculpture is a Monument to Vladimir Lenin, founder of the Soviet state. Look at the building of the Buryat State academic Opera and ballet theatre with a beautiful musical fountain and the theatre square. The theatre is the pride of the capital of the Republic of Buryatia. Visit on Victory Avenue, where a monument – a symbol of the Great War - Tank T - 34.

Complete our walk in the amazing rotating panoramic restaurant located on the 12th floor of the building of the Buryat business Centre. You can stay here for dinner.

You can go on an exciting journey at the temples.( paid extra - 2,000). First, visit the main unique and famous Ivolginsky temple. Ivilginski temple — an architectural and historic monument, is the centre of Buddhism in Russia. Buddhism is one of the oldest religions of the world, and for 2500 years, remains the most peaceful. Friendliness to all visitors — the main specificity of the Ivolginsky temple. Ivolginski temple attracts many pilgrims and tourists from all over the world. Here is the fabulous construction of the temple and the body of Dashi-Dorzho-Itigelov, who was the leader of Buddhists in Russia and a companion of the Dalai Lama. His incorrupt body is sacred to the Buryat people, and the chief relic of all Russian Buddhists. Hambo Lama Itigelov went into Nirvana in 1927. According to his will, his body was removed in 2002, and moved to the Ivolginsky temple. He was in the same form as before.

After that, you will visit temple complex – Rinpoche Bagsha temple. You will see the best views of the city, the opportunity to go on the road long life, meditate in the garden of good thoughts, strike the bell and thereby to improve your karma. The temple has a six-meter bronze statue of the Buddha. It is the largest bronze statue of Buddha in Russia.

Ulan-Ude – capital of Buryatia, located in a beautiful place surrounded by mountains and coniferous forests. A unique cosmopolitan city, the center of Buddhism in Russia. You will introduce with historical part of the city and, of course, you will see the largest sculpture of Lenin’s head in the world. Will visit the Ivolginsky Buddhist temple – largest Buddhist monastery complex, which houses the incorruptible body of Hambo-Lama Itigelov.
